The secondary window behind the main window and the overall squareness instantly made me think late 90s-2010s Jeep. The body cladding and sculpting around the bottom of the doors confirmed a 2000s Cherokee. The chunky black plastic door handle is also a Jeep thing.

That said I totally wouldnt have been able to figure it out if the rear windows and window frames weren't intact.

Yes, unfortunately he was speeding down a 45 mph road, lost control and hit the pole. The worst part is his mom was in a vehicle not far behind him,  and c ame upon the scene right after it happened.
